Magneti Marelli “Container Tracking Device” is a telematic solution to collect information on the location and condition of containers and moving goods, and to send them through the GSM network to an operations center. Small and Easy to set up, the device is self-powered and has no antenna nor external wires. It can be easily activated by just connecting it to a flat surface thanks to an internal magnet. Every device has a unique code linked to the container. Moreover, the mission configuration can be designed to suit the customer specific needs, at the beginning or the end of the travel.
