In this sense, Magneti Marelli’s major competences concern backlight technologies (Passive technology, monochromatic TFTs, colour TFFs from 3.5” to 12.3”), Design-to-Cost (including hardware and backlight), the integration in instrument clusters and dashboards (HW, SW, mechanics and expertise in backlighting), the knowledge at the global level of the carmakers’ specifications.

Magneti Marelli is leader in the design of Central Information Displays, which are currently experiencing huge growth thanks to the increasing need to display and use information onboard the vehicle. Moreover, it supplies a complete range of displays: from segment LCDs and Dot Matrix LCDs, to Active Dot Matrix TFT or Full-Colour TFT.
