For over 20 years Magneti Marelli Powertrain has been developing powertrain control systems using the most sophisticated software architecture techniques (AUTOSAR) and the most innovative Real-Time Embedded Software programming techniques in the production of its control units.

 

Model-based Design of Controls

Magneti Marelli has acquired a consolidated experience in the model-based assisted design of controls. All the powertrain systems developed today are made entirely through this technique in the logics and control strategies.

Automatic Production of Software-Components through Model Complier

Magneti Marelli Powertrain is a leader in the development of the source C code and of all Software Component items in integer and/or floating point mathematics through the use of Model Compiler. It cooperates with leading international partners for the constant improvement of assisted software production tools.

Open Software Architectures - AUTOSAR

Magneti Marelli Powertrain has always developed “in-house” the software and FW infrastructures that allow the robust integration of specific applications in specific environments.

In its products, it offers the possibility to carry out the software-component integration in Real-Time Embedded software architectures proprietary to Magneti Marelli or on Standard Open software architectures (AUTOSAR, AUTomotive Open System Architecture) depending on the specific needs of the customer.

Magneti Marelli is an AUTOSAR Premium Member since 2004 and it actively participated in the development of the standard
