In the sphere of functional integration of systems fitted on cars, Magneti Marelli’s EESA (Electrical Electronic System Architecture) department provides support to the car manufacturer, as an engineering service to the development team.
The complete set of services offered and the considerable experience in the field of Multiplex network provide a design flow that starts from the conception to the validation of E/E integration.

Magneti Marelli boasts:
- Experience in the Multiplex network architectures, with an in-depth knowledge of ISO/SAE standards;
- Methodology, project management, for coordinating suppliers of electronic systems, in both the Passenger compartment and Powertrain area;
- Simulation/modelling of the various environments (Simulink, CAN/LIN environment);
- Experience in checking the entire electric/electronic system, with special focus on misuse
The development phases of the E/E integration project are supported by automatic instruments developed by MM over the years, and by control methodologies developed during the various projects.
The participation in various inter-functional teams of car manufacturers has resulted in the acquisition of significant experience in the diagnosis and EOL (End Of Line) areas as well.
