This is an advanced HMI vocal system.
It allows to give commands, typically to the in-car multimedia systems, recognising a wide range of possible sentences coming from the natural language as request for the same command.
In case of uncertain recognition, the system is capable of asking the user a question in order to solve the ambiguity.
Consequently, it is possible to enter a destination to the navigator using, for instance, sentences like the following:
User: “I'd like to go to Milan”
System: “What is the street name?”
User: “Viale Certosa 37”
Or manage the juke-box function with sentences such as:
User: “I'd like to listen to classical music”
System: “I have Beethoven, Mozart, Puccini available”
User: “Let me listen to Mozart”
