Magneti Marelli Suspension Systems is the Magneti Marelli business unit that designs and manufactures suspension modules and components for motor vehicles.

 

The significant numbers for 2007 pertaining to this business line are as follows: total turnover of 1.182 ML/€, 6,893 employees in 5 countries spanning 3 continents, an R&D expenditure equal to 1.5% of the turnover and investments equal to 3.8%.

 

It has 13 production facilities and 2 research centres in Brazil, Italy, Poland and the U.S.A.

 

In October 2007 it was split into three business lines: Suspensions, Shock absorbers and SDC (electronically controlled shock absorbers).
