Car of the Year 2020: the 35 candidates at the Award
The organization of the Car of the Year award has released the names of 35 models form the final list of candidates for 2020 award.
All the candidates are new vehicles on sale now or before year’s end in five or more European markets.
The voting process has two stages. The first one will produce a short list of seven nominees which will be announced on November 25th, 2019.
The second round will determine the single winner that will be revealed on the eve of the Geneva Motorshow on 2nd March, 2020.
The 35 models candidates at Car of the Year 2020 are: Audi E-tron, BMW 1 Series, BMW Z4, BMW X6, BMW X7, DS 3 Crossback, Ferrari F8 Tributo, Ford Puma, Kia e-Soul, Mazda 3, Mazda CX-30, Mercedes-Benz CLA, Mercedes-Benz EQC, Mercedes-Benz GLB, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Nissan Juke, Opel Corsa, Peugeot 208, Porsche 911, Porsche Taycan, Range Rover Evoque, Renault Captur, Renault Clio, Renault Zoe, Škoda Kamiq, Škoda Scala, Ssangyong Korando, Subaru Forester, Tesla Model 3, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, Toyota RAV4, Toyota GR Supra, Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen T-Cross.
