Ford celebrates 750,000 units produced at its Russian plant
The Ford Sollers joint venture celebrates 750,000 units produced at the Russian plant in Vsevolozhsk since the opening of the factory (July 2002).
The milestone model is a Focus station wagon in Titanium version equipped with the 150 HP EcoBoost 1.5 engine combined with a six-speed automatic transmission.
In detail, the joint venture assembled at the Russian plant 686,270 Focus of three generations and 63,730 Mondeo of fourth and fifth generation.
From the inauguration until today, the annual production capacity of the plant has increased fivefold to the current 162 thousand units.
