Lotus to launch two new sports car in 2020
Lotus began its era under the management of the Chinese Geely brand with renewed power and ambitious growth targets.
The British carmaker, as anticipated by its CEO Jean-Marc Gales, aims to develop two new sports cars to be launched on the markets in 2020, one or two years before the debut of the first sport utility in its history.
It will be the first true new products for Lotus since 2009, when the production of the Evora was launched.
One of the two new sports car will actually be the successor of the same Evora or the Exige, while the second will be assembled in a limited edition with both road and track performance. All this will bring Lotus to create 300 jobs at its Hethel factory.
