McLaren unveils its 600LT, the most extreme of the Sports Series
McLaren Automotive has removed the veils to the new 600LT, the most extreme and performance road version of the Sports Series family that also includes 540C and 570S.
LT stands for "Longtail" and is the fourth in the history of the British brand after F1 GTR of 1997, 675LT of 2015 and the subsequent 675LT Spider.
The 600LT will be produced in a very limited edition and will be available for a period of one year starting next October.
4.6 meters long, the new McLaren model has been lightened by almost 100 kg compared to the 570S thanks to the adoption of carbon fiber for bodywork and seats.
Under the bonnet the twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 600 bhp and 620 Nm of torque that benefited from interventions to the cooling and exhaust system, now more open.
New record in the weight/power ratio for a Sports Series with 481 bhp per tonne grounded by Pirelli Trofeo R tires. The 600LT will be assembled by hand at the Woking production center.
