Valeo presents 48V EV prototype at Shanghai
Valeo is presenting its low-voltage (48 V), all-electric urban vehicle prototype at the Shanghai Auto Show, as an example of its electrification solutions for mobility needs.
The two-seater electric vehicle can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h, with a range of 150 km and can be charged via any power socket.
The French supplier is also unveiling its reversible charger, enabling vehicles to become links in the power grid. Developed in collaboration with Chinese company, Xcharge, the system makes it possible to send excess electricity back to the grid.
Valeo is also presenting its all-season comfort solutions for electric vehicles, while its stand in Shanghai is showcasing a demo car featuring a number of solutions to detect and protect the cabin from outside pollution and its portfolio of sensors for autonomous driving.
