Briscoe gets grid penalty

Ryan Briscoe became the seventh driver to be issued a grid penalty for this weekend's IndyCar race at Milwaukee for an engine change following practice.

The Penske driver joins team-mate Will Power, Rahal Letterman Lanigan's Takuma Sato, Sarah Fisher Hartman's Josef Newgarden, Ganassi's Scott Dixon, AJ Foyt's Mike Conway and Dale Coyne Racing's Justin Wilson in facing a 10-place grid penalty for Saturday's race.

Briscoe's engine was changed after practice at Milwaukee on Friday, while the other penalties are carried over from either last weekend's Texas race or the mid-week test at Iowa Speedway.
